Dr. Shaw has been in Brownsburg since 1986. The focus of the practice is sports injury, personal injury and family practice.
For the past twenty-five years it has not been unusual to see an Olympic or National Team athlete in the clinic. We still maintain this direction today, routinely successfully managing personal injury -motor vehicle accidents, and family practice. Yes, we do still treat sport injuries for young and old alike (weekend warriors too...).
Acupuncture has been introduced to Indiana and Dr. Shaw was among the first group of physicians to be Board Certified in this unique form of Oriental healing.
Presently, Dr. Shaw is certified in A.R.T. (Active Release Technique/Dr. Michael Leahy), S.A.S.T.M. (Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization/David Graston, ATC), combined with Graston Technique/David Graston, ATC. These 3 technique treatment protocols have been seen to perform almost miraculous recoveries in carpel tunnel, tennis elbow, rotator cuff, hip bursitis and a host of musculo-joint ailments.
